YUMMY! Cheap and filling.
when funds are low or u just want to eat fast….
1 large Idaho potato, peeled and sliced thin or small chunks
1 large onion, sliced or chopped
1 sausage, cooked and sliced (optional)
In large skillet pour oil 1/4 way up side start on High heat
Peel and slice potatoes and slice onions.
Oil should be ready…Toss in potatoes carefully, turn heat down to med-high
Cook in oil for approx 10-15 min and toss in onions. Continue cooking until potatoes start to brown , stirring and flipping occasionally. Throw in saysages. ** if the onions start to burn before the potatoes, adjust the heat.
Cook until potatoes are desired crispness and golden.
Place on plate lined w paper towels to absorb excess oil.
Season with salt or any seasoning you like. I like BBQ rub seasoning.
**the thickness of the potato slices doesn’t matter. .thicker more soft inside, thinner more like chips.
